Established in June of 1996 in Ottawa, Ontario, Genzyme Canada now calls Mississauga, Ontario home with our operation supporting the Therapeutics (Genzyme General – Nasdaq; GENZ) and BioSurgery (Genzyme Biosurgery – Nasdaq; GZBX) businesses in Canada.

Our entrepreneurial culture provides each employee the ability to act in a meaningful and independent manner to improve the health of Canadians. Teams are the core of the two business divisions, Therapeutics and Biosurgery, and our Operations Group.

Since our establishment in 1996, genzyme Canada continues to grow year over year. With this growth has come the need to increase the size and complexity of our Operation.

Genzyme Canada Inc. now has representatives concentrating on key healthcare institutions throughout Canada. These men and women are the primary interface with healthcare professionals and provide the innovative products and services that genzyme offers in Canada.
